Chew Valley Weddings is situated in a truly special location. Our family has farmed the land here for five generations, just as my brother Marcus and I do to this day.
We’re passionate about organic farming, great produce, the environment and supporting our local community. Covering approximately 500 acres, we produce organic pedigree Devons along with a small number of other livestock.
We own an organic butchery called The Story with a shop, Meatbox, in central Bristol, and The Community Farm - an organic vegetable box scheme delivering to homes within Bristol and Bath.
We also know how to throw a great party! Every August, Valley Fest, the best-tasting festival in the South West, is hosted on our land.
A place close to our hearts. And yours.
The Chew Valley Weddings site is a beautiful mix of ancient woodland and recently planted trees. In 2004, we created a new woodland in memory of our Dad. Following the subsequent and untimely passing of our Mum, this area will forever hold a very special place in our hearts.
Martin’s Woodland is an important part of our farm; a tranquil space for both remembrance and celebration, which continues to thrive year after year.
