DINNER
An incredible spot for steak and drinks!
Cool AF 1920s-themed British steakhouse situated in the heart of Bristol’s nightlife district. Eat your heart out in front of their very Instagrammable wall also!
Cosy and upmarket speakeasy cocktail bar and steak joint. Looking to save some pennies? They have a very reasonable Early Bird menu!
Root is an absolute dream for vegans and veggies – included in the Michelin Guide this vegetable led restaurant is making waves in the restaurant scene in Bristol.
A true taste of Spain in the heart of Bristol. A bustling atmosphere with delicious sharing plates makes this a go to spot for a guaranteed good evening for groups.
Serving good old pub grub located in a beautifully renovated Victorian pumping station. The whole menu is delicious but if you want to splash out there is an eight course menu you can opt for!
Seven Lucky Gods / Four Wise Monkeys
These sister restaurants are a favourite of many. Set in the achingly cool Cargo in Wapping Wharf, Seven Lucky Gods serves hip Japanese and Korean food out of a shipping container, and Four Wise Monkeys has an ideal spot in town. Try the Korean Fried Chicken!
In a restored Victorian walled garden 12 miles outside Bristol, also close to Nature’s Spectacular, the Ethicurean with views over the Mendip hills and beyond. This is a trip out of Bristol but SO worth it! You can even walk around the gardens to see where the veggies in your meal came from!
From the people behind the insanely popular Pasta Loco, and Pasta Ripiena, Bianchis offers wonderful Italian food and a fantastic wine list. Perfect for the discerning foodie bride.
DRINKS
A sweet spot on the river in an incredible building, with outdoor and indoor seating. LHG have their own brew (brewed locally of course) too.
A simple outdoor bar situated on the river serving the jewel of the West Country – cider! Apple is located on a former Dutch barge now moored permanently at the end of King Street.
There’s a couple of these located around town offering cocktails (often 2 for 1!) alongside delicious pizzas in quirky spaces. Great for a day drinking session!
Cozy, British-themed haunt with entrance via a phone box offering a warm vibe & creative cocktails. Very cool and Instagrammable cocktails!
The Milk Thistle is another sister to The Ox restaurant and offers four floors of excess. Enjoy cocktails in the ground floor cocktail bar, perfect for groups.
Between 1968 and 1988, the Granary Club was Bristol’s home of rock, with over 1,500 groups appearing on the club’s tiny stage including Thin Lizzy, Dire Straits and Status Quo. It’s now a sexy basement bar with frequent DJ nights and incredible cocktails. Very cool!
BRUNCH
The Granary’s menu is dedicated to uncomplicated comfort food bursting with flair and imagination. They believe in treating outstanding produce with the utmost care, and have an incredible breakfast and brunch menu served every day of the week!
Well known amongst locals, this long running cafe has a hearty breakfast menu catering for veggies and vegans alongside classics like fry ups, Eggs Benedict and waffles.
There are a few different incarnations of the ‘Lounge’ around Bristol, with the original located in Bedminster. They offer an all-day brunch menu (with gluten free and vegan menus too), burgers, tapas and awesome cocktails with quirky decor and a lively atmosphere at any time of the day.
Brunch in the garden at The Met is what Sundays dream of! This casual neighbourhood restaurant serving classic British and European dishes is a great spot for a group.
